A LIFE FOR THE CINEMA

Alberto Moro entered the filmdom when he was very young in 1953 as projectionist, then he became a documentary and news-reel cameraman, editor and director. His passion for cinema and history has marked his life since he was a general news cameraman and started to collect every sorts of news-reels, documentaries and reportages from all over the world, many of which he has shot personally. Each film to be collected in the Historical Films Archive Studio Moro is carefully analysed and, if necessary, restored by using the most advanced techniques and exploiting the professionalism based on fortyfive-year experience in the film-trade. In order to catalogue films, it is sometimes necessary to carry out a research work in depth, where historical knowledge and competence are indispensable. The rich collection of epochal books and publications (many of which are very rare) is a great help.
